VLES (MTV's Virtual Lower East Side)( Web Browser ) — VLES replicates the real Lower East Side area in New York City renowned for young bands and music. You sign up as a fan, or a band. If you are fan, you can create an avatar and roam around various venues, streets and attend live performances and events while you listen to and rate music and of course interact with other people. More importantly “Bands” get the opportunity to promote themselves and get people to listen to their music as well as perform live.
Responsibilities
Created interactive prototypes for initial testing and simulation.
Produced design documents, laid out 3d geometry for the foundation of the levels and adjusted accordingly.
Created reels of the projects to showcase the companies work.
Developed and implemented player skill tree to encourage character specialization.
